Got your director hats ready?

You guys sent in some cool Underwater Adventure ideas

last week when we asked what kind of sea stories you’d

write about if you had the chance!

Here’s one that the team really liked:

I would write about a mermaid that is looking for

lost treasure and meets a fish and a squid

who join her along the way.

Then when they find the treasure chest they open it up

and it is just filled with chocolate coins.

The mermaid, the squid, and the fish learn the treasure

that counts is friendship, and the story would

end by the three friends eating the chocolate coins!

Greetings Penguins!

There’s a new play at the Stage on Friday called Underwater Adventure.

I know lots of you are curious about it,

so I talked to some of the artists who worked on it.

Here’s the scoop:

What inspired you about doing the costumes?

For one of them, a delicious meal I once had was the inspiration.Mmm.so tasty.

Tell us something cool about the set!

There’s an entire sea castle to climb in!

And a secret shadowy sea creature in the distance.

For this play, are there treats underwater?

Well, chocolate bars tend to get a little soggy, and cotton candy is a mess.

We could have tried sea salt taffy but I’m pretty sure we didn’t.

It starts Friday! Head down then and make a splash.

Festival of Flight takes off!

Hello Penguins!

Today Club Penguin is in the sky!!

The Festival of Flight party is finally here.

Lots of you seem to be liking the new green propeller hat

and checking out the view from the floor in the Night Club.

Members can ride on a Hot Air Balloon and

visit the Tallest Mountain where they’ll find their own jetpack.

The team thinks it’s cool how a bunch of penguins are on the

Iceberg throwing snowballs at the island above…

The team’s set it up so that now you can hear

your instruments at the Lighthouse stage!

 Are you as excited as I am? Festival of Flight starts tomorrow.

It’s going to be pretty amazing to have Club Penguin floating in the air.

Last week we asked you about you ideas for how you might help Gary lift the island.

Lots of cool ideas came in. Here are some from Limeg6 who said:

There is a lot of ways we can help Gary.

These are the ways I will be using!

First I will blow up balloons with the Super Helium.

Next I will use my propeller to lift Club Penguin off the ground!

Then I will fill up hot air balloons.

I would tie balloons around everything!

I will tie a balloon to the Iceberg and everywhere!

what you think about the solution Gary came up with.

 

The party will go from August 14 – 18 and then on the 20th (Friday)

you’ll find a brand new, never before seen play at the Stage!

It’s called Underwater Adventure.

Hi everyone! Screenhog here!
 
Penguins may not be able to fly,

 but that doesn’t mean that Club Penguin can’t! In a few days,

for the first time ever, Club Penguin will be an island in the

sky.
 
When we first thought of the idea of putting Club Penguin in

the sky, we loved it, but then we started

asking ourselves some questions. What happens to the Beach

or the coastline of the Cove?

Can penguins still play Hydro-Hopper?

And what does a device powerful enough to lift an entire island

even look like, and

where would we put it?

There’s tons of buzz about the

Festival of Flight party that’s coming August 14 – 18

and lots of creative stuff happening all over the island.

Lots of you are already helping to get ready:

We’ve also heard that some of you were wondering

if the Underwater Adventure was going to be another

party like the Festival of Flight, but it’s actually going to

be a brand new Stage play! It’ll start on August 21 -

just in time for you to trade your flight-gear into fish-tails.
